Non-binding offers from potential investors in the development and investment project Batižele have been opened

The area of ​​the former electrode and ferroalloy factory in the western part of Šibenik and how attractive it is to domestic and foreign investors. This was demonstrated by the public invitation by which the City of Šibenik was "feeling out" potential investors in recent months.

The Šibenik City Administration received three offers from reputable companies interested in investing in the former factory area of ​​27 hectares.

Although the call, whose announcement was supported by the City Council, was not binding, but only informative, Nina Kursar, Acting. director of Batižele d.o.o. he does not hide his satisfaction with the expressed interest of the applicants.

"Responding to our call and recognizing the unique investment opportunity in the TEF zone, potential investors once again confirmed to us what we knew at the very beginning - that we are a first-class investment destination and that we are on the right path to finding the best partners for the construction of the new Šibenik in spirit and values ​​appropriate for the 21st century", said Kursar.

The non-binding public procedure also indicated the investment potentials that could be used in a binding form in the further procedure. Potential investors expressed their interest in investing in the area of ​​the entire zone and their readiness for different models of cooperation.

The binding international public invitation will be held in the first quarter of 2022, and the procedure will be led by a five-member Commission composed of representatives of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property and the City of Šibenik.
