Šibenik is well connected by road with the rest of Croatia. It is an hour's drive from the two international airports of Zadar and Split.

Access by car is provided by the existing city road along the north-eastern and eastern edge of the zone, which allows quick access to the location from the western entrance to Šibenik, junction Njivice, which is a connection with the State Road D8 - Adriatic Highway (E65) and highway Zagreb - Ploče A1.

The location can be reached by walking from the historic centre of Šibenik (15 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral of St. James - UNESCO), a walk along the sea that leads to the beach Banj and a little further to the location from Batižele.

Given the heavy industry for which the site was used, the existing communal infrastructure is considered to have sufficient capacity for new urban development. There is no expected need to expand the existing network capacity.
