At today's session of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, a Decision was adopted harmonizing the amounts of claims that the Republic of Croatia and other legal entities have against the company TEF-Tvornica elektroda i ferrolegura d. d. d. d., Šibenik with the aim of implementing an increase in the share capital of the newly founded company "Batižele" d.o.o., and the final amounts of recapitalization of the company.

The total amount of the company's recapitalization amounts to HRK 148,115,600.00, of which the City of Šibenik participates with HRK 53,040,600.00, the Republic of Croatia with HRK 67,154,500.00, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund with HRK 25,852,700.00, and Croatia water with HRK 2,067,800.00.

After increasing the share capital of Batižele d.o.o. The share of the City of Šibenik will be 67.95% from the initial 100%, and the new shareholders will be the Republic of Croatia with 22.64%, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund with 8.71% and Hrvatske vode with 0.70%.

'I am proud that we are getting closer to the goal, which is the commissioning of one of the most attractive plots of land on the Adriatic, which will certainly mark the new future of the city of Šibenik. Our work in the past years to resolve the situation we encountered around the TEF has paid off. I thank the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and especially the involvement of the Minister of State Property, Goran Marić, in finding a solution to this complex problem," said Mayor Željko Burić.

The agreement on the regulation of mutual relations between the Republic of Croatia and the City of Šibenik during the implementation of the "Batižela" Development Plan will be signed in Šibenik on Monday, May 13, 2019.
