Based on the Decision on acceptance of the text of the international public tender for the purpose of selecting the Development Partner for the Batižele project, adopted by the Assembly of the Batižele d.o.o. company. on December 19, 2023, Article 3.1.b) of the Call for Expressions of Interest, the director of the company Batižele, on September 5, 2024, issues the following:

THE DECISION

on the cancellation of the international public tender

Article 1.

The International Public Tender - Call for expressions of interest for the purpose of selecting investors for the project "Urban land regeneration in Šibenik - Batižele Project", which was published on the website of Batižele d.o.o., is cancelled. on January 8, 2024.

Article 2.

This Decision enters into force on the day of its adoption and will be published on the website of Batižele d.o.o.

 

Explanation

The process of selecting investors within the framework of the international public call was divided into two phases: phase A (prequalification phase) and phase B (submission of bids).

As part of the qualification procedure within phase A, the company Batižele d.o.o. received expressions of interest from two candidates on March 4, 2024, namely:

1.     EAGLE HILLS WATERFRONTINVESTMENT LLC, based in Abu Dhabi
2.     A consortium consisting of two members, namely: the company SoReal GmH, A-1030 Vienna and the company Vacon d.o.o. Karlovac.

Based on the quality criteria defined in Articles 13 to 18 of the Call for Expressions of Interest, the Tender Implementation Committee determined that:

1.     The expression of interest submitted by EAGLE HILLS WATERFRONTINVESTMENT LLC meets the qualification criteria, thus this candidate has acquired the status of Qualified Candidate;
2.     Expression of interest submitted by the consortium SoReal GmH Vienna and Vacon d.o.o. Karlovac, does not meet the qualification criteria and is disqualified from the further tendering process.

On March 25, 2024, Notice of Commencement and Completion of Phase B was sent to qualified applicant EAGLE HILLS WATERFRONTINVESTMENT LLC.

During phase B, the Commission for Tender Implementation received two requests from the Qualified Candidate to extend the duration of phase B, and based on them, the deadline for submitting binding offers was extended the first time by an additional nine weeks, and the second time by an additional two weeks.

Following the above, the deadline for submitting binding offers was September 2, 2024. Since no binding offer was received by the deadline, it was decided as in the sentence.
